
Our Peru coffee comes from the Cajamarca region and is the ultimate all-rounder in the ROST lineup, perfect for both filter coffee and espresso. (We always encourage experimenting with different brewing methods for our coffees—you might discover entirely new and surprising flavor experiences!) As a filter coffee, Peru reveals a clean, chocolatey taste with a fruity aftertaste. The coffee is both Fair Trade and organic certified.
Peru, affectionately known as "Pertsa," is the favorite espresso among our roasting team. Its acidity and sweetness are in perfect balance, with prominent licorice notes and a subtle almond-like finish. In other words, it's a timeless classic, perfect for refined and special moments when you expect an espresso to offer an intriguing flavor journey with surprising nuances. Despite its complexity, it remains approachable and easy to enjoy, even in a no-fuss Italian-style standing bar setting.
