Our Honduran Single Origin coffee comes from the famous Copán region, offering a gentle toffee and fruity flavor profile. Despite its relatively light roast, this coffee pairs excellently with milk, bringing out a sweet, peanut butter-like flavor, complemented by a rich, creamy mouthfeel. The coffee is both Fair Trade and organic certified.
In 1999, coffee farmer Omar Rodríguez Interiano from the Las Capucas region brought small farmers together to form the COCAFCAL cooperative (Capucas). Today, Capucas’ mission is to offer coffees with a distinct identity, produced in a socially and environmentally responsible way. It is one of the most progressive coffee cooperatives in Honduras, with a vision to become a leading industry player by 2030. Thanks to the hard work of Omar and his team, this vision is well on its way to becoming a reality. Learn more about the cooperative: Capucas
